Tryg is a leading provider of general insurance and financial products in the Nordic region with 3.300 employees. As part of a strategic HR transformation program Tryg chose SAP SuccessFactors to streamline talent management processes and drive higher employee satisfaction & customer focus. A thorough selection process ended with Tryg choosing Effective-People to provide implementation, consulting and project management services to support the SuccessFactors implementation.

Tryg has worked intensively over the past few years and embedded a strong culture of performance management and needed a corporate system to:

  • Drive transparency and benchmarking
  • Enable managers to have one solution for performance related information
  • Deliver accurate, timely and informed people insights
  • Offer one consolidated system and uniform structure to facilitate Tryg's performance management framework

Tryg is also growing and needed a cloud recruitment solution to:

  • Drive a simple recruitment process that was user friendly for both applicants and hiring managers at Tryg
  • Support Tryg branding and value proposition to attract the best talent
  • Optimise internal resources in regards to the recruitment process

The Project:

The SuccessFactors solution delivered by Effective-People covers the following HCM areas and processes:

  • Goal Management
  • Performance Management
  • Calibration
  • 360 peer review
  • Recruitment Management
  • Compensation Management

At Tryg, HR is taken seriously. HR strategy is closely linked with business strategy. This means that new, improved HR processes are closely linked to business planning and strategy execution. As tool, SuccessFactors was new to the organisation and some processes were optimised during the implementation. The change impact on the organisation was managed carefully by Tryg HR in close collaboration with Effective-People.

Effective-People has been the implementation partner throughout the implementation project. The implementations of the various HCM modules follows best practice design principles, good system usage recommendations and SAP Activate methodology. All projects were delivered on time and within budget and Tryg have rolled solutions out to all countries in several languages. The result has been increased sales, increased customer experience, streamlined HR processes in additional to higher job satisfaction for HR, employees and managers.
